COVID-19 Emergency 
In response to the state of emergency declared at the local, state and federal levels, the Webb County Appraisal District (District) has activated its emergency preparedness plan and is taking all necessary preventive measures to assist in the containment efforts associated with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). The District is committed to ensuring a safe and healthy environment for its employees and the general public, and is actively taking steps to minimize the potential exposure and spread of COVID-19.

Given these circumstances, the Webb County Appraisal District is open for regular business from 8 a.m. through 4:00 pm. At this time, the District will refrain from providing face-to-face services to the public. However, if you need assistance, you can reach us by email at, phone @ (956)718-4091 (CLICK HERE for directory list of employees) or by scheduled appointment.
Additionally, the District has extended the deadlines for filing Homestead, Renditions, Freeport, and Special Agricultural Valuation application. Please CLICK HERE for further details

The District will continue to closely monitor any and all health advisories issued by the City of Laredo Health Department, as well as state and federal agencies. Should a change to the District’s regular business hours be required, the District will provide updated information on the District’s website ( and Facebook page to reflect the updated business hours.

As a Chief Executive Officer of the Webb County Appraisal District, I, Martin Villarreal, welcome you to our Website. I hope that you find our Website useful and informative. Our office is currently responsible for developing and managing approximately 144,458 appraisals for the taxing jurisdictions located in Webb County.

Our purpose is to ensure that all taxable properties within Webb County is on the appraisal roll, to appraise property fairly, equally, and impartially, and to administer exemptions and special appraisals through an open line of communication with the general public.

Attention Property Owners!!!

Webb CAD warns home owners against solicitors who offer to file a "designation of homestead" on their behalf for a fee. District advises property owners to be extremely careful, and encourages them to contact the Appraisal District before responding to any such offer.
